Big Helper

OK...I definitely learned that you can not turn your back for even 2 seconds. Jose and I were hanging the blinds in the living room, while Joslin was hanging out in her walker. She headed off into the kitchen, and when I followed her in, this is what I found.
Yes... she is cooking and cleaning at the same time. She had pulled the cook-books off the shelf, and started vacuuming. I have no idea how she was able to pull the vacuum over from its upright position. Now, if only I could teach her how to plug it in and turn it on, I would be set.

8 Months, already!

Here is my attempt at 8 month pictures. I am pretty sure they get harder every month. She is super squirmy now. I ended up with several partial pictures of her feet or arms as she wiggled out of my picture. But this one tops them all. It's the action shot as I threw my camera to catch my baby, just before she dove off the couch.

New Trick

Here is Joslin showing off her newest trick. I just can't believe how big she is getting! The only problem is she hasn't learned how to sit back down yet.

New Cruiser!

We decided it was finally time for a new car. Chip (my old car, named for it's lack of paint) will be missed. We just needed something that was a little more reliable. When I bought the second water pump ($500) in less than 2 years, I decided the time had come. We had a car transferred by Carmax from Oklahoma. It is an '06 Nissan Altima. It only has 38,000 miles and runs great! There are few goobers on the interior, but I really can't complain.

This is Jos and I on our way to get the new car. I am not sure who is more excited :)
